Medial Office Dialog #3: Includes all the automated features to allow hospitals and physicians to enter a callback number but patients are required to leave a voice message. Up to 30 voice messages are stored, after which you are notified on your pager that the voice message area is full.. No "live" operator-assisted answering service is necessary and the operator or "O" selection is not allowed. The physician is notified with a page for every call that comes into the office line (except for "hangups").
Medical Office Dialog #4: This is the dialog preferred by most physician offices. It includes all the automated features to allow hospitals and physicians to enter a callback number but patients are required to leave a voice message. The patient is asked whether the call is urgent, or can be left for the office staff when the office reopens. If the message is urgent, the patient can leave a voice message, and the doctor is notified on his pager that a message is waiting. If the patient chooses to leave a message for the office, the voice message is recorded, stored for retrieval by the office staff, but no message is paged out to the doctor. No operator-assisted answering service is used and the operator "O" selection is not allowed.
Medical Office Dialog #5: This is the same as Dialog #4 except when the office is "signed out" to another physician's office, the caller is asked whether they want to be connected to that covering doctor or leave a voice message for the office staff when the office reopens.
Medical Office Dialog #6: This is the same as Dialog #6 except "Routine Consults" are stored separately for retrieval at the doctor's convenience; the doctor is not paged for "Routine Consult" requests.
